About Us

Here at Wrentham Christmas trees we are a family run business established for 16 years, previously we were known as Field Farm Christmas Trees and have been growing and selling trees on this site for over 40 years. Our aim is to cater for you and your families Christmas tree needs.

You can choose from our freshly lifted stock in our farmyard or go into the fields where our staff can help you find your ideal tree. Once selected our staff will package your tree in a netting sleeve to allow for easy transportation.

Why not make it a family outing and bring your children down to the farm to soak up the festive atmosphere. We see the same families returning year after year for our quality trees.

If you cannot get down to our farm in Wrentham, we also have an outlet in the car parks at Morrisons in Pakefield from 1st - 16th Dec and Beccles from 1st - 16th Dec.

How to get the best out of your Christmas Tree

Once you have your tree, it's important to start taking care of it right aways.

If you bought a pre-cut tree, it's important to make a cut across the bottom, removing an inch or an inch and a half off the bottom. That's because once it is cut, the sap in the tree will start sealing over the base, and this will hinder its ability to absorb water. That process takes about three hours. As long as you live reasonably close, you can ask the us to make the cut for you.

As soon as possible, get the tree in water. Either set it up in its stand or place it in a bucket if you aren't going to trim it right away. The base of the cut tree should never dry out, in order to keep the needles fresher. (A recent university study even confirms that watering works.)

A rough rule of thumb is a typical tree will drink up to a pint of water a day so you will need to check water levels daily.

To prevent your tree from drying out, where possible keep it well away from any heat sources

As a last resort, if your tree does end up getting dried out in its stand, you can try drilling some shallow holes at the base and refilling with water.
